I'd going to post a little review on free online games with prizes. Haven't done the job yet so I'm just posting a couple of sites - maybe you could participate?

I mean, is anywhere a site where i can play online FREE games and win lots of prizes?

1) This one is pretty cool - Receive $5 just for joining InboxDollars - they pay members to play games, etc. Membership is free. It was mentioned on Good Morning America - have you heard that ad?

2) Another favorite of mine is Gamevance Online Game Tournaments.
I tried all of their 25 games online and I believe that my scores are pretty high -
last month they rewarded their top 200 players with iPods, $200 Visa Giftcard ( I SURE could use it ! Gimme some MORE!!!)
Playstations and Motorola Rokr (cool...could have find use of this, too %#@).

3) Backgammon - they run Live Tournaments for Fun OR Money - the last is of most interest to me you know.

I have a couple more sites to share but I've been testing these now, will add some feedback in a week (I think).

Shrek the Third PSP game

Yes, finally - Shrek 3 on PSP!

Shrek the Third has been in theaters, the next step is to entertain with the main character is the game that comes on PSP. The last news came like this: Shrek the Third, the video game from Activision has finally shipped to retailers of PSP games.

The game occur in The fate of Far Far Away and the characters Shrek, Donkey, Fiona, Puss-in-Boots, Artie and Sleeping Beauty are embarking on an all-new adventure to save the land from the clutches of the evil Prince Charming. This PSP game is of course based on DreamWorks Animation's highly anticipated feature film (Shrek the Third), launching across cinemas on May 18.

Kim Salzer, Vice President of Global Brand Management, Activision Publishing assures gamers that Shrek the Third will provide numerous adventures and difficult situations, encountering different characters familiar to fans of the movie series:

"Activision's Shrek the Third game captures the film's signature humor as it takes gamers on a grand journey featuring original characters and storylines created exclusively for the game," said Salzer. "Players will enjoy hours of fun and engaging gameplay as they travel through the Shrek universe in 20 action-filled levels and encounter a cast of twisted fairy tale characters such as Pinocchio, Prince Charming and a dim-witted Cyclops."

Two new playable characters from the movie have been introduced: Fiona's rebellious cousin Artie and Sleeping Beauty, her fellow fairy tale princess.

Shrek the Third has also been ported to the DS and GBA handheld systems from Nintendo, offering players unique gameplay experiences, such as wireless cooperative multiplayer gameplay through all levels with the DS, while GBA owners will be trotted to saving Far Far Away from the villainous Prince Charming.

Also, the game features a bonus sneak peek at Bee Movie Game, based on the upcoming animated feature from DreamWorks Animation which releases in November 2007.

Shrek the Third: return of beloved characters

There are times when it a pleasure to see the return of beloved characters on the big screen. That's the case with Shrek the Third, that reunites all of our favorite characters from Far Away Land that starred in the previous installments that have made hundreds of millions of dollars around the world.

Shrek and Fiona (Mike Meyers and Cameron Diaz) are a very happy couple as they live in the castle in the land of far, far away. They are surrounded by family and their friends Donkey (Eddie Murphy) and Puss In Boots (Antonio Banderas) who are always right beside them whether they're wanted or not.

This quiet perfect world is jolted when Fiona's father, King Frogger (John Cleese), becomes ill and is on his death bed. Before his passing, Frogger tells Shrek he must take his place on the throne unless a suitable replacement in the family is found. Shrek wants no part of being the King and he decides to set out with both Puss and Donkey to locate Cousin Artie to become the next ruler of Far Away Land. In the meantime, the underhanded Prince Charming is plotting revenge on Shrek and wants to destroy him once and for all.

Shrek the Third is a fun and enjoyable movie, and considering this is already the third installment in this franchise, there seems to be still gas in the tank. Usually by the time a third movie in any series is made, the ideas for the most part have dried up. That's not the case here as there are some big laugh-out-loud moments in the film. Myers, Diaz, Murphy and Banderas are all exceptional with their voice work here, as is newcomer Justin Timberlake.

The film moves at a very brisk pace and there is so much going on that it made me want to see it again to pick up on things I might have missed the first time I saw it. The animation is spectacular to say the least, as the movie just leaps off the screen. The music is also terrific, with some great flashback titles that fit perfectly into the movie.

Shrek the Third is fun and it is as enjoyable for the adults as it is for the kids. While it's not as good as the previous films, as sequels go this is a well made movie that will have legs at the box office, and I say let’s see the further adventures in the lives of the wonderful characters.

As the Shrek The Third Online Game site announces, "NEW GAME RELEASED! PLAY "VARSITY JOUST"!

Principal Pynchley calls him Arthur, but just about everyone else at Worcestershire High School calls him Artie. He's a scrawny little teenager and not too popular with the other kids. If he's not getting stuffed in his locker or having his milk money stolen, he's on the jousting field serving as the varsity team's practice dummy. Ouch.

Team captain Lancelot particularly enjoys targeting Artie during practice. "Everyone doth have a role to play," Lancelot said, "And his role is...loser. Ha ha!" Most of the girls at Worcestershire agree with this assessment. One of the cheerleaders said, "Artie? Ew! Just totally ew-eth!" Even the dorks in school find Artie lame, but we couldn't get a quote from one of them that wasn't too dorky to print.

Not surprisingly, Artie isn't so happy about his lot in life, and he's looking to make a move. This bright-eyed young lad thinks that if he can make the jousting team, his fortunes will change. With tryouts are coming up, this just might be Artie's one-way ticket out of loserville.

In the new 3D game "Varsity Joust", players will have to hit a series of targets with their lance in a limited amount of time. Complete all three rounds to win the game, and to help Artie make the team. Hey, you never know...he could even end up lettering in the sport one day. (Actually, that might be taking it too far.)

Now it's time to sharpen that lance, saddle up that horse, and play "Varsity Joust"!"

As you already know, AOL is launching an online game and tournament tied to DreamWorks Animation’s upcoming film Shrek The Third.

The Ye Olde Shrek the Third Royal Tournament game gives players a series of online challenges involving characters and settings from the movie. Each game, 25 in all, will serve as its own competition. And every time consumers play, they will gain an entry into an associated sweepstakes.

At the end of the six-week promotion, AOL will send one grand-prize winner on a family trip to Hollywood. Partners Mark Burnett and DreamWorks Animation assist AOL in game production.

The game at Shrek.AOL.com builds off the Flushed Away Underground Adventure game AOL rolled out last year.

Quick plot notes:

I keep browsing thru the news, here is recent one on Shrek the Third Game.

AOL announced that it will launch an online interactive game based on the popular Shrek franchise on April 26, three weeks before Shrek the Third hits movie theaters. The game is co-produced by AOL, DreamWorks Animation and Mark Burnett Productions. (Hillshire Farm will be one of the sponsors of the game.)

Ye Olde Shrek the Third Royal Tournament game poses a series of online challenges over a six-week period involving characters and settings from the movie. Each day, players will have the opportunity to solve new challenges and explore new areas; 25 individual games in all will be released over the course of the tournament. The game is one of several AOL unveiled in a press event in New York.

Each time a player engages with a game, he or she gets an additional entry into that game's prize pool. At the end of the tournament, a grand-prize winner will be named, who will receive a family trip to Hollywood and other prizes. Shrek the Third, the newest installment in the hit animated franchise, opens May 18.

Uhm, Shrek 3 trailer...If you aks me, not a bad trailer, definitely.

Shrek the Third will be coming to cinemas in June 2007.
Activision is currently in the process of developing a title to tie in with the game.

Details on the game are very thin, but we would say that the idea of taking control of the flatulent green ogre one more time is quite tantalising.

It comes in high and low resolution, Quicktime movie.

Today AOL announced that it will launch an online interactive game based on the popular Shrek franchise on April 26, Titled: Ye Olde Shrek the Third Royal Tournament. The game will offer a series of online challenges over a six week period involving characters and settings from the movie. All together, 25 individual games will be released over the course of the Tournament. Concurrently, a demo of the offical Shrek The Third game is available for download on it’s official website. Based on the Shrek the Third movie, "Ye Olde Shrek the Third Royal Tournament" lets online fans play 25 Shrek games over a six-week period.

AOL announced today that it will launch an online interactive game based on the popular Shrek franchise on April 26, three weeks before “Shrek the Third” hits the movie theaters. The game is co-produced by AOL, DreamWorks Animation and Mark Burnett Productions. AOL also announced that Hillshire Farm, the premier meat brand of Sara Lee Food & Beverage will be one of the sponsors of the “Shrek the Third” game.

Titled “Ye Olde Shrek the Third Royal Tournament,” the game poses a series of online challenges over a six week period involving characters and settings from the movie. Each day, players will have the opportunity to solve new challenges and explore new areas – in all, 25 individual games will be released over the course of the Tournament. The game builds on the success of last year’s Flushed Away Underground Adventure game as well as the original Gold Rush, which attracted nearly 11 million users and five blue chip sponsors, including Sara Lee Food & Beverage.

“Shrek is one of the most popular animated franchises of all time, and we are thrilled to be teaming up with Mark Burnett and DreamWorks Animation to create an immersive game based on the world of Shrek,” said Mike Kelly, President of AOL Media Networks. “We are also pleased that Sara Lee Food & Beverage – one of the sponsors of last year’s 'Flushed Away' game -- is once again joining us as a game sponsor this year.”
